A little set of programs made by myself. I'll be glad if any one of those will be useful for somebody
The program is developed to search and index video files in local area network and can be run as console application or as service. It periodically searches video files on SMB servers specified in list. Found file are stored into the xml file. The program also checks activity of SMB servers and stores the results into corresponding xml file. When video codecs and Microsoft(R) DirectX (TM) are installed correctly the program can capture frames from video files and store them into corresponding directory.
Produced xml files can be viewed in your web-browser or process with any other tools (as a sample, installation package contains asp script for HTML-files generation).
